A MacBook deck below the fold
The full Apple silicon keyboard and a glass trackpad share the lower half of the iPhone Duo. Nothing sits in the 40pt fold band or the home indicator zone.
| Fold band, reserved | y 455.5 to 495.5 |
|---|---|
| Home indicator zone | y 917 to 951 |
| Usable deck | 669 × 421.5 pt |
| Key unit pitch, 14.5 units across | 45.3 pt |
| Letter key | 41.3 × 40 pt |
| Function row | 26 pt tall |
| Keyboard, 6 rows | 653 × 246 pt |
| Space bar | 223 × 40 pt |
| Trackpad | 448 × 146 pt |
| Vertical budget | 7 + 246 + 12 + 146 + 10.5 |
It fits. Every MacBook key is there and every main key stays 40pt tall. The cost is the trackpad: 3.1 to 1 instead of a MacBook's 1.6 to 1, because height runs out long before width does. Gaps are 4pt and the function row 26pt to buy it room.
